Welcome Reader,
This blog contains thoughts that I have in computing, and my life through my own lens as a software developer. I also write about an eclectic mix of subjects, namely philosophies and sociological views I hold. All my writings in this blog are purely personal, any opinions expressed are solely of my own and do not represent the opinions, views or any affiliation to the companies I work for, past and present.
My life is never too far from doing geeky stuffs: I like to examine things, read or work on something to occupy my free time. Otherwise, I can be found in the gym, or enjoying the outdoors with my bicycle, or out at the beach catching the sun. I have lived in 4 continents in my life and I enjoy travelling immensely. Fun things to know about me: I have weapons training and have been in prison for 2 years (as a prison warden, don't worry), so hopefully you won't be thinking of me as your garden-variety geek!
Alternatively, if you like to find out more about me professionally, here's some personal history of mine:
Education
I am a Computer Science graduate from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. I am a recipient of the Golden Jubilee Scholarship, which has funded the entire course of my study. I also have an engineering background, having previously attended for 3 years in Singapore Polytechnic, where I received my Diploma with Merit in Electronics and Computer Engineering.
Work and Professional Interests
I work for Waratek, in areas related to compilers, parallelism, virtual machines and distributed memory architectures (Resume).
